Rafeal Racela x Livia

Livia is jazzed to announce a month of Friday Night pop-up dinners with Rafeal Racela. 

Born in the Philippines and raised in East Vancouver, Racela spent the past decade honing his skills in the hospitality industry. He worked at several Vancouver eateries, before landing at Crosstown’s perennial cooking school The Dirty Apron. Hoping to further his culinary repertoire, he soon travelled to Sydney, Australia and worked at the celebrated Continental Deli Bar & Bistro before returning to Vancouver as pasta chef at now one Michelin star Kissa Tanto.

For the last 4 years he has been an integral part starting out as Sous Chef to then Executive Chef at the Michelin Recommended Como Taperia, as well as running a modern Filipino pop up series called Tayo.

His food of beautiful, bright, and I truly love it, and am so excited to have him cooking in our spot.
